New Aviation Event - University of Georgia Aviation Club Third Annual Spring Fly-In, Athens, GA

The University of Georgia Aviation Club provides unique opportunities for students at UGA to network with peers and industry professionals, participate in flight opportunities, and above all - enjoy aviation. This year the UGA Aviation Club is hosting its third-annual Spring Fly-In to fund the club's student pilot scholarship. The scholarship fund will be awarded to a qualified student who shows true passion and commitment in the pursuit of their private pilot certificate. The University of Georgia does not offer any aviation program for students, which led to the creation of the UGA Aviation Club. As the club is 100 student-run, we are fully funded by club members. Thus, our scholarship will allow us to continue to grow the aviation community at UGA alongside the club. We believe in the importance of offering opportunities for students in the aviation club, and this scholarship fund will provide a unique opportunity for a student pilot to earn their wings. The Spring Fly-In will be Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Athens Ben Epps Airport. There will be airplanes, food, drinks, music, a corn-hole tournament, and a raffle! We hope that you can join us and enjoy this exciting event with the community. Our club has seen a dramatic increase in participation and excitement within the past year, and we hope you can help us continue this growth. We appreciate your support and look forward to blue skies ahead!
