Apalachicola Regional Airport - Apalachiola, FL

Apalachicola was a fuel stop enroute from Miami back to San Antonio. Really a great town with lots of small antique shops. Unfortunately, most were closed on Sunday, but we had a great lunch at Boss Oyster right on the bay. Airport personnel were extremely helpful and we had the use of a courtesy for our short visit. Aviation City - Arcadia, FL

Aviation City is a Fly-In/Camp-Out Center located on Arcadia Airport. It features a 20x30 Pilot Shelter, picnic tables, fire hub, and water. Pilots may taxi right onto the campsite and park under beautiful oaks and pitch their tent. Reservations are required. - Submitted by George Chase

Blue Heaven Restaurant - Key West, FL

This is one of the ultimate 100 Hamburger experiences! Take a picturesque flight over the Keys into Key West. Call ahead to have a scooter delivered to the FBO Island City Flying Service and waiting for you, then immediately enjoy the fun in the sun as you ride along the water into Old Town, where your destination is Blue Heaven. You eat outdoors along with the Key West roosters in the courtyard thickly lined by tropical plants and trees. The pancakes are out of this world, but if they're serving Lobster Benedict...well...that's in the do not miss category. There's simply too much to do in Key West, so spend the entire day. There's Sloppy Joe's, Hog's Breath Saloon, and many more incredible restaurants. Boca Raton Airport - Boca Raton, FL

This is a very nice airport to fly into. It has a control tower, and the runway is directly behind a movie theater. The folks at the local FBO Boca Aviation are great. They have a courtesy car, which they will lend for a couple of hours, and they will also take you in a van to the movie theater, and with a phone call, they will also pick you up. There's great restaurants nearby. I recommend TGI friday's and Cheesecake Factory. - Submitted by mrpintado

CJ Cannons - Vero Beach, FL
